The Design Brief

This was a new build property where the garden consisted of a lawn and a small patio area. The client wanted a garden that was full of colour. Planting was selected for their scent, colour and to attract wildlife. Colour pallets include deep pinks and reds interplanted with evergreens for year round structure and interest.

The Solution

The solution was to keep the existing patio and a large proportion of the lawn, but installing 3 garden borders to be filled with colourful and fragrant planting.

The planting now wraps around the lawn, creating a peaceful space that will attract a range of wildlife. A small bird bath now sits at the end of the garden and shade loving plants have been selected as this area is in shade for most of the day.
