The Design Process

Step 1: Arrange an initial free consultation

Contact me to arrange an initial free consultation where I will explain the different design packages to meet your budget and requirements.

Step 2: Choose your design package and set your budget

If you would like to go ahead with one of the design packages, I will send you a simple contract detailing the design work I will carry out.

Please note that I currently offer design only and planting services. This means that any hard landscaping such as laying paving or installing a fence will need to be carried out by a contractor. For an additional fee I can install the plants for you.

Step 3: Site visit

I will arrange a site visit to measure your outside space and record other vital information. I will also ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire about your ideal garden, what you are looking for and any problems you wish to overcome. I then use this information to create the design plans for your new garden.

Step 4: Garden design plans - first draft

I use CAD software (computer aided design) to design your new garden where I will create a concept plan. We then discuss the designs and make any changes, as I want you to be completely happy with your new garden!

Step 5: Finished design plans

Once you have received the final plans I will follow up to check you are completely happy with your new design. Please note that all design plans will be sent to your electronically as a PDF file by email.
